Senior Republicans have hit out at Donald Trump after he claimed – without evidence – that the election was being stolen from him, calling his allegations ‘insane.’
Chris Christie, the former governor of New Jersey and a Trump ally, accused the President of ‘inflaming without informing’ urging him to ‘show us the evidence.’
Larry Hogan, Republican governor of Maryland, said there is ‘no defense’ for Trump’s comments, adding: ‘No person is more important than democracy.’

Someone remind me about all the campaigning he did this year on behalf of ANY Republican candidate? Oh, yeah, that’s right he’s on record as voting for his dead father in 2016 and for the late, great Ronald Reagan this year. Larry Hogan and leadership are opposite terms.
