It’s safe to say, most of us think Maryland is pretty great. We have Ocean City, the Preakness, great sports teams and a lot of history!
But how do we compare to the rest of the nation?
According to a new YouGov survey, that doesn’t seem to be enough. Maryland ranked in the middle of the pack as America’s favorite state at No. 26.
In the top spot, Hawaii, thanks to its beaches and weather.
On the mainland, Colorado and Virigina round out the top three.
At the bottom of the list, Washington, D.C.
There you go, chit does run down hill.
To visit-maybe…
To live-not…
The tax-and-spend dumbocrats have too great a hold on the legislature…
Everywhere that the conservatives are in charge is better overall!
And it’s in the bottom half! Let’s not forget that!
Because Md is a Shhht state !!!!! That’s why it ranks so LOW !!!!
Baltimore and a few or the surrounding counties are why Maryland is turning into a socialist sewer.
I like it here so much that I have updated my home to be sold and I am currently looking at real estate in North and South Carolina to move and retire there. Maryland hasn’t been the land of pleasant living since the eighties.
Too many assholes from north eastern states have moved here and they have brought their problems and ideas with them. What they tried to escape from they brought here and destroyed everything that made living here great!
It will rank LOWER than that if that DNC traitor Tom Perez is elected Governor of Maryland. If he worked for Obama he has to be CROOKED!!!
I agree with the individual who posted at 8:50 a.m. Worcester county is very solidly republican, and while no place is perfect, it is certainly in much better shape than the cesspool in Salisbury. As an example, look at Ocean Pines – solidly Republican and as a result it is quiet and calm and consistently one of the safest, if not the safest place in Maryland.
You mentioned OC Pines. All credibility lost.
(snicker snicker)
Golf course mismanagement; in fighting via the council; 50 yrs to get cable competition; moaning because of the casino; just to name a couple of recent 21st century items.
8:11 – you are, of course correct. There is lots of the old boys network, but I was referring to crime – compare the crime rate of OP to the rest of the state. I believe you will find that there is no comparison.
