Fishing for northern snakeheads in the upper Bay tidal rivers and creeks will pick up soon, as protective parents will leave their fry balls of young and get back to the business of feeding in the shallow grassy areas.
On the eastern side of the Bay there is some exciting catch-and-release fishing for large red drum.
