Big Oyster Brewery Partners with Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition

A beer that tastes good and does good. Right now Big Oyster Brewery is brewing a new beer called “Sarah”. It’s named after a local woman currently battling breast cancer.

It’s a beer that grabs your attention; not only by how it looks, but what it does. Coming out of a bright pink can, the beer probably tastes how you would imagine. It’s a sour, with a strong fruity kick.
“It’s a strawberry and vanilla sour. So it’s brewed with a couple hundred pounds of strawberry puree and Madagascar vanilla beans. It’s got a lot of fresh strawberry character and its a great spring and summer beer,” said Michael Anderson with Big Oyster Brewery.
A percent of proceeds from each can will be donated to the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. Each cent goes toward helping women when they’re first diagnosed, during treatment, and even after.
Every can comes with a QR code. The QR code takes you to the Young Survivors in Action Group so you can learn more about the organization. Scan it, and it will also show you the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition webpage where you can make a donation right from your phone.
