Joe Biden and Kamala Harris want us to believe two things; that there’s no crisis on the border – and that whatever is happening there is Donald Trump’s fault.
Harris has at least branched out her excuses for the “not-border crisis” crisis to include other variables she picked off a liberal bingo board – going as far as to blame climate change and anti-LGBT violence for increased illegal crossings (as well as the usual excuses, such as poverty and crime).
Even if we were to grant that those factors influence illegal immigration, that doesn’t explain why it’s a problem right now. After all, it’s not like Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador’s problems with poverty and crime began in January.
What did begin in January however was Biden’s undoing of Donald Trump’s immigration agenda.
