The federal $45,000 tax lien placed on the home of City Council President Nick Mosby and his wife, Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby, appears to still be in place despite Nick Mosby’s evolving story about the history of the tax tangle.
FOX45 News attempted to get clarity about the lien that was placed in March 2020. Mosby said he had not denied the existence of the lien on his property multiple times and, when confronted with a copy of what appears to be the lien in question, Mosby directed FOX45 News to his attorney and slammed his car door shut.
However, less than a week ago, Mosby did appear on WYPR Radio and denied the lien multiple times. When confronted directly about the lien by the host, Mosby sat in silence for 12 seconds.
