State’s Attorney Mosby says commission ‘found no wrongdoing’ in her travel or gifts

Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby claims she’s been vindicated by the state’s ethics commission.

A press release from her office says the commission was investigating her travel and gifts she’s received, which was also the subject of a city inspector general’s report.

The release says the state ethics commission asked Mosby to amend her ethics forms to account for overreporting of travel and gifts she returned instead of auctioning off.

The press release claims Mosby overreported her work travel, and the ethics commission “found no wrongdoing or illegality in travel or gifts.”

It’s worth noting the inspector general’s report never accused Mosby of violating any ethics statutes.

This all comes as she and her husband, City Council President Nick Mosby, face a federal investigation into their finances.
