Governor Hogan Proclaims April 5 Taekwondo Day in Maryland

Gov. Larry Hogan on Monday issued a proclamation designating April 5 as Taekwondo Day in Maryland.

Hogan and First Lady Yumi Hogan issued a video message to highlight the continued effort of Taekwondo masters in the state to spread hope and positivity through the martial art throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

“During the COVID-19 pandemic, Taekwondo has helped so many in our state stay ‘Maryland Strong,’” said Hogan.

“Despite unprecedented challenges, Taekwondo masters pioneered new ways to keep their martial art businesses alive, and set a powerful example for their students by demonstrating incredible resilience.”

Hogan received an honorary ninth degree black belt from the World Taekwondo Headquarters in Korea during his trade mission to Asia in 2015 and first proclaimed Maryland Taekwondo Day in 2016.

  1. In the first place he is a failure as a governor he has done zero for Maryland, and just follows anything the left thinks & says. He has to this day never had an original thought or response to anything including Covid, the border crisis, street violence in our major cities, children returning to school, jobs and any improvements in Maryland. He just follows Biden like a blind follower but seems to think he is a likely presidential candidate. Anything about South Korea he jumps on because his wife is South Korean. Does he have a mind at all? A robot could do his job and better. We cannot reelect this baboon and never consider him for anything in politics ever again!

  2. A lot depends on the size of the COVID test purchase to the Koreans and their commission rate to the people who brought the deal in. The Hogans may be set for life.
