As the trial of former police officer Derek Chauvin starts in Minneapolis, much of the trial will focus on the role of fentanyl in the body of George Floyd as the possible cause for his death. Notably, a new study in the last week reinforces prior research showing an alarming increase in the abuse of this powerful drug and deaths associated from it. In some counties, there was an almost 75% increase in the first half of 2020 in fatal drug overdoses with fentanyl as the main culprit.
While Floyd denied using drugs, he later said he was “hooping,” or taking drugs. That was confirmed in the autopsy which found that Floyd died from “cardiopulmonary arrest while being restrained by law enforcement officer(s).”
He did the same thing 6 months prior. Ate the drugs while being pulled over only difference paramedics got to him faster. He spent two weeks in icu. Same exact drugs. This time body couldn’t handle it. However what planet does the cop live on to think he can hold him like that while on video. Play to the camera my guy or burn. I think he will get 10 years for homicide he will serve 7 in protective custody. Jury is biased.
Hello…
The officer was following police policy
Most agencies use the same neck hold
Democrats hate law and order, and wanted people of LOW IQ to riot based on TV bullchit
Autopsy was officially online a few days after he died. Multiple illegal drugs in body. Heart disease. Covid positive. No damage to neck or airway. Was ‘wack’ while in the store before cops called.
Cop on trial really doesn’t look to be exerting any pressure with knee; knee would keep perp from raising head but not be pushing down. MSM video editing wouldn’t catch that distinction.
Question I saw elsewhere: If they could have him back, would family and their lawyers give up the $27M?
