Baltimore City’s top prosecutor is no stranger to questions about her outside business dealings and it turns out, the businesses in her name registered in Maryland aren’t the only ones.
Business records from Osceola County, Florida indicate Marilyn Mosby holds a landlord license and runs a company called Mosby Rental. The business venture in the Sunshine State was not publicly disclosed in Maryland until recently, following her purchase of two homes in Florida as the federal government investigates not only her tax history and campaign finances, but her husband’s as well – Baltimore City Council President Nick Mosby.
The attorney representing both Mosbys, A. Scott Bolden, did not respond to questions from FOX45 News on March 22 asking about the home purchases, instead issuing a statement.
“So what!? Marilyn Mosby recently purchased a condo & a second home that she rents out when she is not there. Mrs. Mosby earns a salary, has savings, a lender & a credit score-all to support her family & she has a legitimate ability to purchase properties& invest HER money any way she chooses,” Bolden said in an email statement. “She is no different than anyone else who do or have done the same. This should not be news, nor does it merit a federal investigation.”

No reason for her to have that many homes when many of the people she represents don’t own any. She needs to share the wealth.
