The mass shooting in Atlanta is having a chilling effect on the Asian community in Maryland as bias and hate incidents concerning Asian Americans continues to grow.
Recently, as Gov. Larry Hogan pointed out, there has been an increase in Asian-related discrimination and hate incidents in Maryland and around the country.
Angela Cabellon is the executive liaison for the newly formed Howard County Asian American and Pacific Islander Workgroup put in place by Howard County Executive Calvin Ball to advise the County Council on issues that affect their communities.
“It just pains me that our Korean colleagues, even in Atlanta, are having to grapple with this sadness,” Cabellon said.
Howard County has one of the largest Korean populations in Maryland, and its total population is almost 20% Asian. The group worked with law enforcement when several Asian-owned businesses were vandalized in February.
“We’ve seen recent incidents of hate bias and stigma, not just here in Howard County, but in Maryland, as well as across the nation,” Cabellon said.
I guess it’s their turn. Somebody always hatin’ on somebody.
Why ? Just the latest Democrat division tactic nothing is going on
And let us not forget that Harvard University – as some others – have been actively discriminating against Asian Americans for quite a few years now.
The one thing the outraged woke crowd is not acknowledging however is that these crimes for the most part are being committed by blacks.
Asians are too smart to fall for this old hoax but a few sellouts will go along with the hoax
Six Asian prostitutes and two other random people. And we lower the flag to half staff for this?
Larry’s wifey scared????
Its a Big Pharma problem once again These mental demented psychos do not need medication they need to be institutionalized.
