Another day, another left-wing meltdown, this one centering on the arrest of Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan.
Per RedState’s prior reporting, Dugan was arrested by federal marshals after allegedly harboring an illegal alien and helping him escape an ICE arrest warrant. The details of the story are shocking and paint a picture of a judge helping a domestic abuser slip out the side door as his alleged victims waited in a courtroom.
As the above thread goes on to explain (click it to see all the posts), Dugan allegedly misdirected ICE agents, having them wait in another room while she then helped Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, an illegal alien, evade immigration officials and escape. She was also reportedly “confrontational” and “angry” while interacting with federal immigration officials.
The case seems simple enough, but as tends to happen, partisanship has overtaken the topic. As expected, the very same people who spent years proclaiming that “no one is above the law” are now suggesting separation of powers protects Dugan from any consequences for her probable criminal activity. Here’s Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) doing just that, as illustrated by a helpful side-by-side I put together.
