You should look into “INDIVISIBLE”, a highly shady but mighty incipient organization that is bringing town halls (manufactured by outsiders pretending to be locals) to primarily conservative towns to influence voters.
Andy Harris has had a recent brush with them at a recent event in which he spoke at the Marriott in Cambridge approximately 2 weeks ago. “Protesters” (ostensibly) paraded outside the entrance to the resort, waving signs and shouting at passing motorists headed in both directions on Route 50. They shouted the usual tropes, condemning Elon Musk, Trump, and all conservative tenets in general. Outside appearances would lead you believe this was a homegrown “organic event” but further research showed that INDIVISIBLE is sponsoring these nationwide, en masse, and funding them as well. The Board of Directors are a collection glossy, well-polished professionals and their web site is big.
This is the 3rd “protest” event I’ve seen in Cambridge within the past 6 weeks. None of the folks look local or familiar to me and I roam frequently. There was a 4th event (not witnessed by me) held on Maces Lane which has a 95% black population. All the protesters were white and very conspicuously dressed – LL Bean, Patagonia, Helly Hanson coats and good shoes. Very un-Maces Lane like.
I smell a rat. And its growing.
Good educated republicans will see right through this ploy. If anyone is persuaded by these protest they are pretty much already Trump and Elon haters. They are only wasting their time and money. I wouldn’t worry too much.
They are a bunch of paid bussed in idiots that will do anything for an easy dollar. Beats working!
