Conservative historian and scholar, Victor Davis Hanson, believes the time has finally come for a reckoning in higher education.
Colleges and universities have always leaned left, but in recent years Americans have watched in horror as academia turned into a straight-up progressive indoctrination machine. People go into debt to send their kids to these schools which then transform their once happy children into raging Marxists.
If colleges want to be that way, it’s their business but it doesn’t have to be done with taxpayer dollars.
Hanson writes at Townhall:
I’m sorry that my learned history professor relative won’t see the return of sanity and a useful acadamia, one beneficial to America and Americans.
I will not be happy untill Salisbury University closes the Office of Instiutional Equity (can there BE a more soviet name?) removes the rainbow trash flags, and gets rid of the public (communist) radio station. Ok- I lied- I won’t be happy until that group of snotty “I’m better than you” snob professors are all working double shifts at Wall-Mart to make ends meet.
If any one of Salisbury University’s professors was a fraction as smart as Victor Davis Hanson, they could urn out some students who have enough sense to cross the road.
