There’s yet another piece of drama as we reach the final days of the Biden-Harris occupation of the White House.
Kamala Harris has dished to her “closest confidants” that she’s “disappointed” Joe Biden claimed in a recent interview that he could have won the election if he’d stayed in. That of course seems like an implicit dig at her, in addition to just being untrue. He even claimed the polls showed he would win. “It’s presumptuous to say that, but I think yes… based on the polling,” he told USA Today. He later clarified that both he and Harris could have won — even though she lost badly.
Well, if that were true, why didn’t he stay in? Biden just can’t even keep things straight.
But it’s clear that now in the final moments Harris also wants us to feel for how she’s been treated here, which is why the “closest confidants” are dishing. They also dished that the Biden comment showed the “one-sided loyalty” that has marked the pair’s alliance, while Harris has been reluctant to criticize Biden. The report noted this had strained the relationship.
But if she was hoping to get attention, it didn’t go well, at least not from the Biden side of things.
A former Biden official responded, “Who cares?” The official then said, “She is done.”
Oof. Brutal, but true. After how badly she has messed things up, who would ever get behind her again for the job? I say that, but I also suppose “never underestimate the possible stupidity of the Democratic Party.”
But that response also indicates how, now that she’s lost, they can dismiss her.
We’ve seen that relations haven’t been going well between Jill Biden and Kamala, such as the awkwardness between the two at the Carter funeral. Even CNN took note of it.
He’s going to be stopped at the Gate before very long and will have to account for fifty years of racism, lying, stealing, protecting criminals, getting people killed or otherwise ruined, and blaming everyone else. What will St. Peter say?
