President-elect Donald Trump is reportedly considering Dan Bongino to run the Secret Service.
Bongino currently hosts The Dan Bongino Show on Rumble but was previously an NYPD officer and Secret Service agent.
According to a CNN report, Trump is considering Bongino or Sean Curran, the head of his current detail, for the position.
The report continues:
Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe, meanwhile, was unsuccessful in trying to set up a meeting with Trump this week.
Others on the list of potential picks include Robert Engel, the former head of Trump’s detail who was with him on January 6, 2021, and testified to the House select committee about the former president’s speech at the Ellipse that preceded the US Capitol attack.
Great move. Dan Bongino is a knowledgeable guy.
I like the idea but as of Monday Dan Bongino is denying all rumors.
Sadly, Dan seems to be OK with the impossible “lone shooter” story in Butler PA. I don’t want him to lead the SS.
