  1. Boy, Let me tell you something about the Vote against Question A tent! Those folks are woke and pathetic making false claims about the Vote for Question A tent harassing voters as they enter the Civic Center to vote! At No time did I witness any form of harassment by the Vote for Question A tent when I went and voted today! I was in the parking lot a good half hour observing everyone before I left and there was No pressuring of any sort to vote for Questions A by anyone there today. The claim from the other side is putting out false narratives stating their opponents are being aggressive in their tactics! SMH!

    1. On the way in to vote, I stopped and had a chat with “The Evil” Mike Goldberg. Hellava nice guy. Then I went in and voted: Trump. Hogan. Harris. No. No. No. No. Against. For. – Signed, Conservative Patriot!

  2. While she was a better candidate than the RINO Psota (in the primary) and Davis/Boda in the general election, she has shown her inability to deal with every-day activities.

I have actually seen her in action deflecting and obfuscating just like the Demoncrats do. In addition to pursuing her own agenda while battling the County Council, her activities to further her own existence is hilarious.

We shall soon see the results of the County Charter change referendum – either way, she will be gone after her single term! I just hope that if the referendum is denied by the voters, we get a real worthy candidate to do the job the way it is supposed to be done!

  3. This is absolutely insane and completely unnecessary . How many airplanes, on average per year, crash and burn that this airport to justify its own fire department? This airport is a waste of tax payer’s money.

    1. Lets start out simple.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) mandates aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) at all U.S. airports that serve scheduled passenger air carriers. The FAA also provides guidance and resources for ARFF training, vehicles, and other aviation fire and rescue requirements.
      ARFF operations
ARFF is required at Part 139 applies to land airports that serve scheduled or unscheduled passenger air transportation using aircraft with a seating capacity of more than 30 passengers. This ensures the airport meets safety and operational standards set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).May 20, 2024 certificated airports during air carrier operations.
The fire department is mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to respond anywhere on airport grounds within three minutes.
The FAA issues Airport Operating Certificates to airports that comply with safety and emergency response requirements specified in Part 139. Such requirements cover a wide range of issues, including signs, lights and markings, runway safety, aircraft rescue and firefighting, aviation fueling safety, snow and ice control, and wildlife hazard management.

This isn’t about what the airport wants. This is what the airport needs as a mandated by the FAA under Part 139 applies to land airports that serve scheduled or unscheduled passenger air transportation using aircraft with a seating capacity of more than 30 passengers. Research first, comment second.

  4. the local airline that has a sweetheart deal on hangers and no landing fees was supposed to provide the fire fighting capabilities at this airport. In 40 + years of living here I dont ever remember hearing about a crash at this airport.so another bunch do nothing jobs at taxpayer expense plus retirement benefits. Will they be taking the firetruck to acme to fetch lunch like the other units do?

  5. add it to the ticekt price and drive away what little business there is there anyway. make airline pay landing fees like they do elsewhere to pay for this! I got to pay to park there. why not them?
