Larry Hogan again vows not to vote for Trump

Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan reiterated his criticism of Donald Trump on Sunday, saying that he will not cast his ballot for the former president in November.

Hogan, who is currently running for Senate, has repeatedly said he does not support Trump’s current or past campaigns.

“I’m not going to [vote for Trump]. I didn’t vote for him in 2016 or 2020,” Hogan said during an appearance on CBS News’s Face the Nation. “And I’ve made that pretty clear.”

However, he stopped short of issuing an endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris.

“I’ve said neither one of the two candidates has earned my vote. And the voters in the country are going to be able to make that decision,” Hogan said.

  1. The real question is if Hogan is elected, and Trump is elected, will he vote along party lines or will he be a Rino and continue to vote against the republican policies and against Trump?

  2. So that speaks volumes for me….so if Bernie was running Larry would you still not vote for trump. You do realize by making that end of your career statement you are a communist. Because any party that allows an socialist or communist on there ticket.wont get my vote so… neither will you. Trump is fighting the infiltration of the marxist ideals, guess your just another do NOTHING LIAR politican.

  3. I’m holding my nose and voting for Hogan.

If elected he will almost certainly not be a completely automatic vote for GOP sponsored legislation. That’s unfortunate but not end of the world. Ideally, all members of Congress would have an independent streak and think through the issues and proposed changes before voting. No such luck but 80% is greater than zero!

The alternative is to send another cheating, criminal Democrat socialist to Maryland’s open Senate seat. This is the first time in literal decades that we have a real chance for a Republican in that seat. Let’s not blow it!

I hope President Trump will have Senator Hogan voting for most of his policies; it’s a certainty the Democrat will never cross the aisle.

IF we feel most GOP legislation is wholesome, positive, patriotic then Hogan will find that persuasive. Look at the BIG picture and think Long Term.

Drop me a note if you need a clothespin November 5! I’ll be happy to supply one. Don’t let the perfect be the undoing of the good.

  4. Imagine spending the last 5+ years complaing about Larry Hogan and calling him a RINO only to line up and vote for him for Senate. Big time cuck behavior.
