Enjoying Oceans calling……picking peeps up and getting them downtown. Have beers. They give me whatever. $$$$$$ ha Rickie…….putting bags over stops. So many folks going to the beach side just to get on a bus. WTF are u all doing? Glad we have peeps against us and the council this year. Need new blood.
Rain is coming….. a town who banks on of season is a town that’s mismanaged. U MUST figure out how to get peeps into town Monday thru Wed. Empty room means no receipts for the town. 20 yrs now and no solution. Big name companies don’t help. Trying to fill the offseason? Cmon.man. that’s suppose to he gravy monies. Sad. Weather this summer didn’t help with fog all the time. Don’t be a 10 week town, think bigger. If that means lowering hotel prices….HELLO. New Gen, they go elsewhere. Their parents aren’t in charge. Think bigger. Major hotel names don’t worry bout loss….but it hurts US.

And stop building. Too many empty for sale condos and homes already. The north end development is shit. Peeps going to Delaware because of the friendly taxes. U cannot compete. That’s a MD legislature problem…..don’t ADD to it. Short term mindset.

2:41, you make several good points however, Ocean City is a beach resort town just like Myrtle Beach and other towns on the eastern seaboard. They all depend on good weather to attract visitors, that’s just the way it is. You state they need to fill the empty rooms Mon thru Wed, well people must work more than ever now just to keep they’re bills paid, much less afford a week long vacation. Delaware beaches are not doing any better than OC by the way, it is what it is. For you, just keep pocketing that hard earned tip money and buy more bourbon LOL
Oceans Calling? Sure we’re many sweathogs wearing plastic bags .most of the day. Sat weather ok, but rain returns Sunday.
Buying was awful as usual. On friday, many of us made $$$$ driving folks downtown. Folks waiting for buses going north since the south bus stops were packed. Win win for the little guy, while laughing at downtown. Those leaders still can get anything right.
