This year’s Summerfest events will be held from 5-8 p.m. at the following locations:
- June 27 – Lake Street Playground – Field Day
- July 11 – Billy Gene Jackson Sr. Park – All-Star Sports
- July 25 – Doverdale Playground – The Arts
- Aug. 8 – Indian Village Playground – Water World
“We look forward to the return of themed Summerfest events this year and can’t wait to offer some great free experiences to children in our community,” said Recreation Program Specialist Randy McFadden.

Why are all the functions being held at the black communities? This doesn’t sound fair.
Are you kidding me? Please. How bout the city park, or the zoo?
Never nothing like this for the Eastside of the county. Just more Free for the entitled of the county. Keep up the one sided good work Wicomico.
I hope there is a large Police Presence at these events, nothing good comes from the word “free” and on the west side of the county !!
Very very one sided wicomico county, there really are others that live in this county that are constantly overlooked.
This is typical Wicomico County antics. Everything for the west side of town. How about having something, anything, for the east side?
