Boxcar 40 In Pittsville To Close

When I sold this building years ago I was excites to see them remodel the building and turn it into a bar/restaurant, (Station 7). My only concern and recommendation was that they open a crab house instead of bbq. Ultimately the business failed to pay taxes and they ultimately closed.

It seems the current business there allegedly failed to do the same and within the next four weeks they plan to close their doors after the liquor board has refused to renew their license.

Being located in Pittsville it is more like an out of sight, out of mind location. Much like the Old Mill in Delmar, a crab/seafood business run right could make the difference.

Hopefully this becomes a consideration as Pittsville really needs such a place.

  1. The fire department will buy it and turn it into higher learning facility so Shawn Townsend can get a diploma and we think it is possibly large enough to store Powells ego and head.

    1. Yea and Townsend is getting free taxpayer advertising on the firehouse event sign and I am sure someone else spelled it for him.

      1. Hey lets forget the 2 above favorite imported bragger Robert Shipe all he can do is get in your face and say i own 10 acres i own 10 acres while his step daughter slings in sight of there buddies police station.
