Baltimore sees 23% citywide increase in personal robberies despite decrease in shootings

As homicides and non-fatal shootings are down, according to Baltimore Police Data, the same data shows personal robberies are up.

According to the latest released data, as a whole, robberies are up 23% citywide from this time last year.

In the Central district, the 28-day increase sits at 17%.

The Southeast district’s 28-day total shows a 76% increase, while the Northeast reports a 65% increase.
