An 80-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint just after noon in Annapolis on Friday, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
Officers responded to the Bank of America Parking lot located at 2200 Forest Dr. for a citizen robbery, police said.
According to police, the woman was leaving the bank holding an envelope when she was approached by two men.
One of the men displayed a handgun and demanded her money. The woman complied, and the men fled in a black Jeep SUV, according to police.
The woman did not report any injuries.
Detectives are investigating if this incident could be related to an armed robbery at the same location on Feb. 23.
In the big city, the first of every month is called Mothers’ Day, when women’s social security and welfare checks and electronic deposits arrive. The number of crimes against women with fresh cash goes up for a few days every month.
Actually, it’s the 3rd but the rest of the story is correct. It has been that way for at least 50 years.
Best way to stop this kind of crime? Close the banks! There’s no need for cash anymore.
Yes, close the banks as 3:59 says. That way big brother can track every penny you earn and every penny you spend. No more little side hustles for a little play money, or yard and garage sales, you will be taxed on that also. No cash is the one world order agenda.
OLDER FOLKS NEED TO CARRY
no one wants to be shot,
and a 25 or 22 is not much recoil, but the thug will need to seek medical attention.
