Governor Moore’s new crime strategy raises questions

A part of the Governor’s new crime-fighting strategy sounds all too familiar.

At a news conference on Tuesday, Governor Wes Moore discussed the crime-fighting package he will present to lawmakers this legislative session.

A cornerstone of the strategy is the creation of a “center for firearm violence prevention and intervention”.

The health department would run the center and would oversee funding for community organizations that are fighting in the war on crime.

  2. How stupid does Moore think we are? Maybe Marylander’s are THAT stupid to believe that new legislation and programs will end gun violence. I’m sure all the criminals will be Moore than happy to comply. Idiotic and Lunacy govern Maryland.
