Trump’s Fraud Case Takes Stunning Twist as University Professor Points Out AG James’ Huge Blunder

The civil fraud case against Donald Trump took a dramatic turn on Thursday, December 7, as a defense expert witness claimed New York Attorney General Letitia James’ lawsuit lacks any actual evidence of accounting violations by the former president’s real estate business.

According to ABC News’ live updates, Eli Bartov, an accounting professor at New York University, testified that after thoroughly analyzing the company’s financial statements, he found no proof to support allegations of fraud or misrepresentation.

“My main finding is that there is no evidence whatsoever for any accounting fraud,” Bartov told the court. “My analysis shows the statements of financial condition for all the years were not materially misstated.”

He went on to highlight what he called a glaring deficiency in the prosecution’s complaint – the absence of any cited infraction of accounting rules.
