A pair of transgender women won gold and silver in a female cycle race in Illinois over the weekend – and it’s not the first time they have finished ahead of biological women.
Tessa Johnson and Evelyn Williamson, who were both born male, beat out all the opposition at the Illinois State Cyclocross Championships on Saturday and the news sparked anger from female sports advocates and political commentators.
Johnson and Williamson stood on the podium as first- and second-place winners, respectively, in the women’s singlespeed category, while Kristin Chalmers, a biological woman, was relegated to the third spot.
It’s just a matter of time before the Special Olympics women’s sports titles are swept by transsexuals.

The obvious and correct way to remedy this nonsense is to eliminate the historic distinctions in sports between men and women (or boys and girls). Each sport should be open to all, and the best men or women (or boys or girls) win. There is no reason to have separate competition for men and women (or boys and girls). Make this one simple change and transgender athletes are no longer an issue. May the best man or woman (or boy or girl) win. Age categories don’t make sense either. Younger people might just need to work hard as they grow up and then eventually compete with everyone else. Problem solved. You’re welcome!!

Nope, I disagree 11:15. Keep sports separated between males and females as it’s been since the beginning. If a male isn’t good enough to win against his own gender he was born as, he should find some other activity that might suit him better, not compete against females which are a proven fact not to have the physical strength of males.
