ANNAPOLIS, MD — Governor Wes Moore today released the following statement regarding the Baltimore City Firefighters injured and killed in the line of duty:
“Our entire state grieves for the victims of the fire in northwest Baltimore that took the life of one firefighter and seriously injured four others last night.
My heart goes out to all those affected, including the victims’ families, friends, and colleagues. We are praying for the swift recovery of those still being treated for wounds as we mourn the loss of EMT/Firefighter Rodney Pitts, III, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
My team has been in close contact with the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office, the Baltimore Fire Department, and the International Association of Fire Fighters in the wake of this tragedy. We will continue moving in partnership to protect the lives of our first responders, no matter where they serve.”
Where we live we already paid $1500.00 per year in D’Bury !!! Now it will be $ 2000.00 per year THANKS ALOT

This is being Mis-Understood by the condo Managers as giving them the right (Without Our Votes ) to RAISE
our Condo Fees !!!! The state did Not say is was Mandated to Raise our Fees ONLY Recommended !!!!
If the Condo Monsters have not already maintained a Proper budget is is NOT The owner’s problem !!!!!
WE should have the RIGHT to vote on ANY raises in Fees Including the RIGHT to VOTE OUT the condo
managers & be Free of them !!!!
GOV MOORE does not support POLICE / FIREFIGHTERS / EMTs or even CORRETIONAL OFFICERS who hold one of the most dangerous jobs there is. I for 1 am tired of hearing from these fake POLITIANS who claim to protect the citizens and are so sorry for their grief. Then pass legislation to go against their fake comments.
