In the interest of safety, the Maryland Folk Festival, which was scheduled for Saturday will be delayed due to incoming inclement weather conditions.
The safety and well-being of all attendees, performers, and staff is the City of Salisbury’s utmost priority, therefore the festival will now begin on Saturday at 3 p.m. rather than the original noon start time.
Forecast for Saturday:
12:00 – Wind & rain (97%)
3:00 – Thunderstorms, i.e., rain with thunder and lightning (89%)
Safer?
Our government is a bucket full of stupid, a total clown show.
Is there not a severe weather clause in the contracts?
This whole joke of a 20 hour event has done nothing but drain the wallets of taxpayers.
How exactly has the MILLIONS of $$ spent on this farce over the last 5+ years enriched our lives.
Keep electing idiots and allowing unqualified people win by default, while they focus on HUD and lynching apologies for crap that happened a decade ago, your town crumbles.
Elect clowns …. Expect a circus
Would rather have a good rock band come to this area.
I’m glad I do t live anywhere near that disaster area of a town. I wonder how much money has been wasted and lost over this mess.
