Biden’s food stamp expansion linked to 15% jump in grocery prices, study says

‘Overreach led to massive spikes in grocery prices,’ expert told Fox News Digital

The Biden administration’s massive expansion of food stamp benefits is linked to at least a 15% rise in grocery prices, a new study said on Thursday.

President Biden’s Department of Agriculture rolled out revised nutritional standards for federal food benefits in 2021 that expanded the program by roughly 25% from pre-COVID pandemic levels.

Overall spending on the Supplemental Assistance Nutrition Program (SNAP) more than doubled between 2019 and 2022, according to findings from the Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA) previewed by Fox News Digital. It went from $4.5 billion in 2019 to $11 billion in 2022, the study said.

  1. 15%……more in big cities…prob even more in Blue run big cities so when someone uses SNAP WIC Stamps, etc., the nut for the business is still their pockets…meaning the rest of us PAY PAY amd prob triple PAY for our goods znd servicss. Hospitals, pharmacies, public schools, section 8.

Something very unbusiness like and its hard to follow the money.

Vacancies for rentals down 20%…or another way of looking at it is there are more available, 20% more than last year. Less demand means more supply and when hotel rooms are empty during the week (like the last 10+ years in OC), no monies are made, no tax receipts to collect, no additional monies being spent requiring reataurants to shorten hours our day….lack of help.

    RECESSION!

Now…2023, OC on record to hire more locals this offseason. Hello McFly, offseason is here and now have a job fair. Be careful, only hiring locals is a form of discrimitation. Talk to ur HR expert.on how to write your advertisement.

More important to get city county state officials in town this past week about dredging the inlet. Took them on a boat to drive around the inlet….hoping for money and more help from the Corps of Engineers.

Yet what about finding solutions for getting rooms filled during the summer, lack of bus drivers and lack of help. Need to take 2 steps backwards b4 thinking of.going forwards

Affordable housing and more than the national livable wage.
