A mix of channel and blue catfish can be found in every tidal river flowing into the Chesapeake Bay. Cut bait is one of the more popular baits with both anglers and catfish.

White perch are providing plenty of fun fishing and can be found in deeper waters over oyster reefs and around medium depth docks, wharfs, and piers, where they are usually holding close to the supporting structure.

  1. Fishin has been lousy this week because.of the rain and fog. Yuck. Sunset thru the fog was orange tonite. Inlet parking only 20% full on a friday nite. Vacancies everywhere and tye final exodus of June bugs this Sat.

    4th of July tourons next weekend, then families until mid Aug when college amd grade school begins.

    Quick as they come is as quick as they go. Another year when “they” didnt come because its way too expensive.
