Landmark Baltimore grocery store closing, “chronic shoplifting and violence” part of reason

To me, while not surprised at this event, it seems that self destruction of another predominantly low income and AA neighborhood could be addressed by at least an effort by NAACP and others to stop complaining about white store owners leaving dangerous and highly unprofitable locations and take the reins, buy these businesses, successfully run them to provide for those neighborhoods, and see how long they can survive.  It’s a test, just like Baltimore’s NAACP has elected to address education of Baltimore denizens.
What’s your thoughts?

  1. Thoughts?
    Don’t care.

How many rules (discriminatory in nature) are specialized for the lower income communities?

Haven’t those “incentives” made recipients lazy in nature?

Isn’t there corruption with those “incentives”

Dont TAXPAYERS pay for those “incentives” yet get ZERO return on investment?

Why is the same procedures being done over and over and over again – without any change? (Thats the definition of insanity!!!)

    I don’t care.

  2. Dumb Sons-a-bitches cut off the hand that feeds them. And to think some people feel they should get preferable treatment in hiring. Just shaking my head.

  3. Oh,please.. If you are going to be a good writer please get the singular and plural tense right. “What’s” (contraction of What is) is singular allowing only one thought. Please use “what are” if you want to be a leader.

    1. Oh no, the grammar PoPo is back. We all better dot our i’s and cross our t’s. And only use one ! when stressing a point !!!!

  4. Surely Jake & Wes Mooron can find money to install an owner/operator in the community as a replacement. And the NAACP can provide security so the shoplifting comes to a screeching halt. One can hope?
