Spread The Word Immediately Salisbury Residents

There is a meeting TODAY at 4:30 PM that is being kept quiet in the media and it’s an important one.

They are about to sell lots 1, 11 and 15 to Salisbury Town Center Apartments LLC. These lots are downtown closest to the Library. The assessed value is around $1.9 million to be sold for $275,000.00!!!

Adding more apartments will once again take away from parking downtown along with stress on the water and sewer.

You have been warned and it is up to YOU to spread the word immediately with all your friend and neighbors to stop this dead in its tracks. Share this post and spread the word all over Facebook and whatever other source you may know of.

  1. It’s all section 8 housing meaning the crime will be far worse than it is now , Nobody will be able to safely enjoy downtown

  2. Salisbury’s elected and appointed officials are little more than pirates selling off public buildings and spaces to a favored few for pennies of their assessed value. Continuation of the old firehouse scam.

The majority of parking spaces in the public owned parking garage are to be reserved for occupants of the refurbished Wicomico Hotel, aka Ross. That’s a giveaway without any benefit to downtown patrons.

The majority of public parking lots downtown are being sold off to the favored few for pennies or being turned into a drug sales venue when City Park is about 3 blocks away. Creating new public spaces to be maintained while currently doing an inadequate and unacceptable job of keeping existing ones weeded, swept, repaired. Makes absolutely no sense!

Supposedly a new parking garage will be built somewhere else. A great many people who used to patronize various businesses and the library have no interest in using parking garages due to their layout, urine in the stairs, inability to come and go promptly, lack of visibility if an issue arises, etc.

The merchants and restauranteurs are in a vise. Jake and his cronies think monied customers will be drawn to this type of development with its imposed lack of convenience. The inverse will be true. Vacancies all around town but with parking just steps away. Easy to predict the outcome.

Sorry suckers (er, citizens), you voted for these clowns, or never bothered to cast a vote. Same result.

  3. Why do these people not think about the SENIORS in this town. There is a waiting list of 2-3 years at all senior housing in this town. Not only that but the rents are really high. We need some decent apts reasonable
pricing in this town. Seniors live on fixed incomes.
Let’s not forget about our parents and also that we will be there someday.

  4. So according to MD Business Search Salisbury Town Center Apartments LLC was officially formed in 1/20/2023. It has no financial history filings with only David Laikin as Resident Agent and Michelle DiDonato as Authorized Person all from Joppa MD. I wonder who has connections back across the bay? Maybe a college come-here who works for the City? Time to search Linkedin profiles.

  5. I’m all for growth and economic development in Salisbury and the downtown area, but what I can’t understand is why this particular development isn’t happening on the vacant land where the old Salisbury Mall once stood. That would be an ideal area.

  6. These new parks that already exist downtown have become completely inhabited by homeless and drugs–especially near the library and Market St. Inn… the new ones being build will become encampments for these people…making Salisbury worse–there is no policing and no policies to remove them so we can enjoy. Good luck with all the needles, and empty bottles of alcohol around and being harassed by these druggies
