After NPR’s Major Layoff, Employees Accuse CEO Of Racism

In 2023, there are few pleasures like watching leftist media platforms suffer from declining revenue, then painful layoffs and, finally, a delightful crescendo of knee-jerk accusations of racism.

That’s exactly what’s been playing out at NPR. Last week, looking down the barrel of a $30 million budget shortfall, NPR slashed 10% of its staff across all its departments.

Thanks to none of you listening to NPR’s “Louder Than A Riot,” we may never hear the promised episode about rapper Saucy Santana

  1. Want to have some fun and help destroy NPR at the same time? Delmarva Public Radio is having their fund drive this week. Call them up and explain-and this is important- CALMLY and clearly how and why you will not now nor ever again give them a dime of money. 410.543-6895 if you need it.

NPR doesn’t care if you give them money- but the local stations do. When enough local affiliate stations go under, then NPR will start paying attention.

Yes, NPR IS state funded media. Yes, only a small portion of our tax dollars goes directly to NPR- but a HUGE amount of federal and state tax dollars go directly to the LOCAL npr stations. That money then gets funneled to NPR in Washington in the form of affiliate fees. Yes- stations have to PAY NPR for the programming.

Want to defund NPR? Defund you local NPR station first. When enough local stations suffer financially, then and only then will they complain to their masters about NPR’s increasing liberal tilt is affecting their bottom line.

    You’re welcome.
