Marjorie Taylor Greene accuses NYC Mayor Adams of organizing protest to shut down pro-Trump rally

Democrat Mayor Eric Adams said during a press conference that Rep. Greene needs to be on her best behavior

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Tuesday morning accused New York City Mayor Eric Adams of organizing a counter protest to stop her pro-Donald Trump rally outside the Manhattan courthouse in which the former president will be arraigned later in the day.

The firebrand congresswoman’s 10:30 a.m. protest lasted about 10 minutes, before counter-protesters drowned her out with whistles being handed out to the crowd.

“He sent them, and I fully believe that,” Greene said on the “Bannon War Room” TV show on Real America’s Voice. “He should never have done that.”

On Monday, Adams, a Democrat, publicly warned Greene and others to be on their “best behavior” if and when they come to New York to protest what they consider a politically motivated case against Trump in connection with hush money paid to adult film actress Stormy Daniel in 2016 over an alleged affair.
