Comer On Biden’s Doc Scandal: ‘He’s Also Being Investigated For Influence Peddling With Our Adversaries’

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said during an interview Monday that President Joe Biden was under investigation for allegedly “influence peddling with our adversaries.”

Comer made the remarks during an interview on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends First” while discussing Biden’s classified document scandal.

Comer said that the National Archives was coming before the committee this week to answer questions surrounding the classified materials that were found in Biden’s Delaware home and former office at a think-tank in Washington, D.C.

When asked if it was “normal” for vice presidents, the position that Biden held at the time the documents were taken, to take their notebooks with them when they leave office, Comer responded, “No, nothing that Joe Biden has done with respect to mishandling these classified documents is normal.”

“Take into consideration that he’s also being investigated for influence peddling with our adversaries around the world,” Comer continued. “And it’s even more concerning look, more information comes out every day, where his son, especially as well as his two brothers, have had shady business dealings with our adversaries around the world.”

  1. Joe, Check out this Bull Crap!!! Jack Heath ain’t no better than Jake Day! When he was recently appointed he claimed that he was going to “continue the great work that Jake Day has done” and I was praying that he was just saying that.

I just saw this quote from a city resident named Art “The City of Salisbury is hostile to its taxpayers. They are going to destroy more roads with this so-called Action Plan. I absolutely will not vote for anyone on the current City Council and the Mayor. Everyone has known that it is only a matter of time until they ruin Eastern Shore Drive.” (This gentleman is a Democrat!) That is exactly how most of us feel. It’s time to put Jack Heath and the 4 current council member into retirement!

I’m hearing that Muir Boda, Michele Gregory along with Jack Heath have said they will run for Mayor in November. That is just 11 months away and we need to make sure they don’t get elected! We need all anti-bike lane candidates! It’s going to cost the city $3 million dollars in the City Budget and $12 million dollars of City and Federal tax dollars! Now is out chance to put a stop to this!!

City of Salisbury Receives $12 Million Grant from U.S. Department of Transportation

The City of Salisbury has received nearly $12 million in Action Plan Grant funding through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) discretionary program, funding Salisbury’s Vision Zero Action Plan through completion.

Established through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, SS4A funds regional, local, and Tribal initiatives through grants to prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries. $5 billion in funds will be appropriated to receiving organizations over the next five years. Action Plan Grant or Implementation Grant activities can include transforming roadway corridors, applying roadway safety treatments, carrying out speed management strategies, combatting roadway crashes, and many more potential safety activities.

The Vision Zero Action Plan, approved in March 2020, is a comprehensive plan to confront the dangers present on our street network, aimed at ending traffic fatalities and serious injuries by January 1, 2030. The City has identified a High Injury Network (HIN) through the Action Plan, including specific corridors and intersections which are the most dangerous, and grouped these into three groups–most dangerous for all users, most dangerous for pedestrians, and most dangerous for cyclists.

Salisbury is one of 510 communities across the country to receive a grant award through the program’s first round of funding. With a total project planning and design cost of nearly $15 million, the $12 million SS4A grant and a local and state match of almost $3 million will allow for the complete implementation of Salisbury’s 2020-2025 Vision Zero Action Plan.

“This grant, in addition to a local and state match of almost $3 million, will get us across the finish line on what is perhaps the most monumental public safety program in our City’s history,” said Mayor Jack Heath. “We have ways to prevent deaths on Salisbury’s streets, and it’s through well-engineered infrastructure. We are working to create a safer Salisbury for everyone who uses our roadways, and this grant will get us there. Thank you to the Department of Transportation and U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg for this generous funding.”

The City intends to use funding from the SS4A grant to install traffic calming measures, high-visibility pedestrian crossings, implement bikeways, infill sidewalk and side-path gaps, and improve intersections for the safety of all users. These improvements are largely focused on the HIN, which includes streets and corridors like E. Church St., Eastern Shore Dr., Beaglin Park Dr., Naylor Mill Rd., and others as outlined in the Action Plan.
