A new bill introduced in the House last week aims to curb White supremacy and hate crimes, but it has also sparked concern that it would blow a hole through the First Amendment.
The Leading Against White Supremacy Act of 2023, sponsored by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, would make it a federal crime not just to commit a crime that is inspired by White supremacy, but to post something on social media that promotes White supremacist views if someone else then sees it and commits a crime.
“It is a criminal hate speech law that would violate core principles of the First Amendment,” George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley wrote in a Tuesday blog post. “It makes clear that the accused does not actually have to support or conspire in a crime.”
Much of the bill deals with making it a crime to commit “conspiracy to engage in white supremacy inspired hate crime,” outlining the elements of such an offense. Normally, criminal conspiracy statutes require two or more people working together toward the commission of a crime, but this bill only requires one person to actually be involved in the crime, if another person “published material advancing white supremacy, white supremacist ideology, antagonism based on “replacement theory”, or hate speech that vilifies or is otherwise directed against any non-White person or group[.]”

DEMOCRATS do not care a bit about the Constitution. They GLADLY trample on it and ignore and try to degrade it.
DEMOCRATS are a threat to our very existence. If they had the power, we would be more like Nazi Germany than Nazi Germany was.
Take your guns. Monitor and punish speech. Harass, arrest, and imprison those with whom they disagree or say things they don’t like (and THE TRUTH be damned).
Condemn churches, religion, and God. FORCING citizens to accept the indoctrination of their children into the weirdest, strangest, and most deviant of beliefs and practices. Humiliate and ruin those who don’t march to that tune.
Threaten citizens with armed force (F-15″s come to mind) for daring to challenge them. Bankrupting the middle class and using government power (and the taxes from the middle class) to create a group TOTALLY DEPENDENT on their largess and, therefore, totally compliant with their agenda.
Demonizing capitalism (you know, the very system that made us so great a force in the world) and those who actually work and produce in order to further divide the nation.
Democrats.
Slimy. Underhanded. Delusional. Criminally anti-American.
Jefferson TOLD us they would appear on our political scene and he told us the ONLY way to stop them from destroying this country was to kill them. That’s straight from the mouth of the man who (with Adams) wrote our founding documents. And was also a President (I say that so the people who have gone through the current democrat-controlled school system get a chance to know Jefferson did something else other than own slaves.).
Democrats. Ultimate goal?? TO “fundamentally change this country”. Into what, you should ask, because their answer will blow you away…..because it’s SO stupidly illogical and improbable and contrary to EVERYTHING we stand for as a nation, morally, politically, and culturally.
Revolution. It’s coming. And they know it, too.
