Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest before collapsing on the field and being rushed to a local hospital, the Bills announced late Monday evening.
The 24-year-old safety tackled Bengals receiver Tee Higgins near the end of the first quarter of their “Monday Night Football” matchup. As Hamlin attempted to get back to his feet following the collision, he fell back down to the ground. Teammates frantically waved in medical staff as the situation quickly grew dire, and an ambulance rushed Hamlin off the field and to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in what quickly became a terrifying scene.
Hamlin received CPR on the field and is in critical condition.
I would be willing to bet he got the clot shot!
The prevailing theory is commotio cortis. He basically took a headbutt straight to the chest that stopped his heart.

The NFL has finally discovered there is a God. The human aspect of the game has regrettably evolved with a tragic injury. Where are all these guys and the media on other occasions that wish to include God, i.e. school, meetings, congress? Only when in dire consequences is God called upon to intercede and fix sad situations.
So, when the “uniforms” come off, we find real humans, with emotions are there. They are not the same idiots celebrating in the end zones. but who is to blame for that – cameramen, fans, come on we’re better than that.
