This is BS!!!! I hate those paper bags.
I love paper bags. You can stack so much more in the bag than a plastic one, and the stuff doesn’t roll out of the bag in the trunk. Plus the paper bags I re-use for packing material for shipments. Or it can be recycled nearly everywhere in the cardboard bin. (and unlike plastic 85% of brown paper gets recycled)
Now they charge for Paper bags which used to be Free for years !!!!

Well its about time Twitching Kits does something constructive besides inspect Jakes backside.
Crime, homelessness, failing businesses, vacant business properties, urban blight, streets in need of repair, a police department that panders to criminals, etc., yet you have a mayor and his cronies who think that banning plastic bags is some major accomplishment. Laughable!

People used to just pick the bags (and trash) off the ground but they forgot where the ground is.

Fruitland has it’s own mayor so everyone can go to Fruitland Walmart! And if their is no trash bags for city trash a lot will just be dumping their trash along the highway and all over did the Mayor & City Council think this through bet NOT! This child mayor gets dumb & dumber every day how are the roundabouts, bike paths, two lanes for traffic around the college reduced to one with sticks in the road for increase in accidents, one day trash pick up, scooters everywhere, pan handlers still on route 13 North and in front of Acme that you were going to end still present the tent city thing and motel thing didn’t work. Not a successful City Festival yet no numbers on $ made but a huge traffic jam. Why couldn’t Jake have come out with a message of cheer before the holidays not another one of his disasterous no brain ideas?
It’s not a ban on plastic trash bags, moron, just shopping bags.
We’re gonna get rid of more of that forest land and make this place a desert!
