Congresswoman Cori Bush, who supports the ‘defund the police’ movement, spent $500,000 in campaign funding on private security, according to a new report.
Bush (D-Mo.), a member of ‘the squad’, splashed out over $100,000 on ‘security services’ through the third quarter of 2022 alone, according to Federal Election Commission records, seen by Fox News Digital.
Of that, $71,201.06 was paid to St. Louis-based private security company named Peace Security. The remaining $30,000 on security services went to Cortney Merrits and Nathaniel Davis, who reportedly share an address with Bush’s campaign HQ.
The third-quarter spend took Bush’s private security spending during the 2020-2022 election cycle to more than $490,000, the news outlet reported.
This is despite Bush openly calling for defunding the police, a movement which exploded following by the murder of George Floyd by a Minneapolis officer and the deaths of other Black people at the hands of law enforcement.
DEFUND the SQUAD !!! FIRED
All these funds should be paid out of her own pocket and not out of campaign / political funds.
No POLITION should have any protection, from the PRESIDENT down, since they want to take away what little there is for civilians and they want to take away our weapons and destroy the 2ND AMENDMENT.
They don’t deserve ANY security !!!!
Shure they don’t want any police so they can commit more crime & not get caught !!!!!
