The IRS warned Wednesday that anyone who cheated the government on pandemic loans still must pay taxes on the fraud-based income or else face the wrath of the taxman.
That applies to anyone who got a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan then got the government to forgive the loan based false representations.
In some cases, they only qualified for the loan because of their lies and omissions, while in other cases they may have properly qualified for the loan but then spent the money on things that went beyond what was allowable under the law, the IRS said.
Ban the IRS !!!!
Likewise, anyone who has a student loan forgiven will own income tax on the amount forgiven. You can look it up!
As it should be. Debt forgiveness = income, so income taxes should be due on the amounts forgiven.

All you nuts chanting to ban the IRS need to chill. You rely on so many things that come through federal funds and you wouldn’t want to see all those things dropped, and it requires the IRS to collect the money that is spent on those things.

A flat tax of say 10% with very simple yearly form or a national sales tax could generate enough revenue for the needs of our goverment. THE IRS IS NOT NEEDED !!!!

Sorry want the truth, the Money the IRS collects from us does not go to support the US Government or help pay down the National Debt they have all run up. Your taxes actually get forwarded to Puerto Rico and moved on to making the 13 Families that control us even richer while we dumbasses Voluntarily Pay and File our Taxes, read the form the next time you sign it. Go research when they brought the IRS in, and don’t forget the Treasury too. Might have to get off Google to find it and might need some videos which are available to watch.
