A Viewer Writes: County Wide EMS?

Muir Boda is campaigning on creating a countywide EMS system that is “long overdue” and touting that “ALL EMT’s and Paramedics will become Full-Time county employees!” His post was “Liked” by City Councilwomen Angela Blake and Michele Gregory as well as Jake Day’s Deputy Director of Administration, Andy Kitzrow. Does this mean that Boda, Gregory and Blake will vote to turn over the city ambulances and EMT’s and Paramedics to the county. All it takes is their 3 votes! He did say “ALL EMT’s and Paramedics will become COUNTY EMPLOYEES and that it was “long overdue so that must mean the city paramedics as well!!” It will only work if the city EMT’s and Paramedics become county employees. Think about it, Cambridge, Hurlock, Easton and all the towns on the Eastern Shore turned their EMS Division over to the County. Most Countywide EMS systems don’t have independent ambulance companies. It makes no sense. Like Muir said it’s long overdue and county ambulances are coming into Salisbury daily to cover calls for them. Make it a true countywide EMS system and let Jake Day keep the ones that he wants to ride the fire trucks. So what’s it going to be, Muir, after all you said it was important?

  1. So how much is that going to cost county residents ? We already have lots of volunteers willing to take care of emergencies for their fellow citizens, that we much appreciate. Muir Boda is just using this idea for campaign purposes. He actually has no good ideas that will not cost us a fortune.

  2. Boda is certainly more appealing than that KarenWitch Nutjob Julie…he was an actual small government libertarian who left the GOP based on his own beliefs and principles….the fact that he has ideas that many people like is a good thing for this county I think…

  3. Why take anyone seriously that hangs on the Wal-Mart teet? If he were that smart he’d have a credentialed CAREER know his limitations and not get involved in Politics like many should.

  4. Day wants to charge the County to pay for calls answered in the COUNTY for firetrucks so the COUNTY will expect the CITY of SALISBURY to pay for the ones DAY wants to ride on the FIRETRUCKS at the same rate he wants the COUNTY to pay for the ones that DAY wants to ride the FIRETRUCKS. They can’t have benefits for 2 jobs. What if EMS is required for a call and they are out on a fire call? The COUNTY will be left high and dry while EMS is getting COUNTY benefits.

BODA will screw up the COUNTY if he is elected just like he is screwing up the CITY of SALISBURY.

  5. Muir Boda has served as an integral part of the City of Salisbury’s generational rebirth along with Mayor Jacob Day and the Salisbury City. another one of jake day’s buddies.

  6. Fermunda Cheeseman

    Cool

More voters that will vote for tax increases to give themselves pay raises.

Muir, why don’t you make everyone in the county a county employee?

Better pay and benefits for all.

Way to go Muir, I always knew you would float to the top.

Just like at the treatment plant.

  7. Running as a third-party (libertarian) candidate!
That will only serve to divide voters and hand the election to the dumbocrats!

    Thanks – but no-thanks!

    1. Meanwhile, Groomerdano is already having meetings with Day and Mike Dunn about fostering greater county-city financial “investment”….she’s showing herself to be a typical RINO who simply wanted a higher paying job….she’s even best friends with the head Salisbury gay group PFLAG…what a phony!!!!!!!

  8. So what’s Giordano’s plan other then threatening retaliation and making promises of jobs for her flunkies? What experience does she or Barry Beauchamp or Luffman or McHugh have that makes them qualified? What’s her plan, do tell us oh great ones…
