DP& L could take down all the Poles all over the city where they changed their lines and recycle the poles they left behind with no lines instead of raising charges to the citizens. Or the pole in St. Andrews Church parking lot their men knocked down and had to replace. Their errors that cost them $ could save more $ being taken from tax payers . Their are probably a hundred of those poles they could remove and recycle. Time they learn how to conserve rather than dig in our pockets. THEY ARE A BIG WASTE!!!!!
i saw it on our newst bill. too bad they have a monopoly. I thought monopolies were against the law. I tried to switch to the cooperative several years ago and was told if I was a delmarva power customer I could not do this? wtf?
The picture you’ve attached looks like it’s dealing with electricity charges, not the delivery charges. You pay for the electricity, and you pay for the delivery of the electricity to you. It’s two separate things. That’s because you can buy your electricity from more than one supplier, but you have to have delivery from your local utility. Of course most people buy both from their local utility, but you don’t have to.
That was ana cross the board increase. Choptank customers got it too.

Dear GOD, please help us seniors, we can’t hardly pay our bill now. We have to slack off on our meds, just to be
able to pay our utilities. When is it going to STOP. You are driving us to our graves, but then again this is probably just what you had in mind. Cable is also out to get us. The thing is YOU are going to be in our shoes sooner than
you think. Ponder this thought.
The writing has been on the wall. Everything has gone up over the last 2 1//2 years….its now time for the electric folks to do the same. What the daily business channels (where they talk REAL news), natural gas will be thru the roof this winter. Propane, heating oil, natural gas and of course electricity….all energy supplies turning it up for nice profits. Big oil continues to curse.
Demand dictates supply and we drive demand.
go take a look at who donates the most money to the assholes in annapolis. Accross the board it’s the electric companies. They got those political hacks in their pockets and got you by the balls. when you idiots gonna learn how to vote? of course if I live in the projects sit on my ass pump out rugrats the guvment will pay all my bills for me. So you fools keep working really hard so I don have to!

I also sometimes hear seniors slack off from food because of these bills going higher. Which I hate to hear about, it is bad. However, call the ele. company I think they have programs for seniors, to help. I also think in the state of MD, it is against the law to turn off ele. on seniors and homes with young babies.
They got more $$$$$$$$$$$ Than the Govt & Need no more $$$$$$$$$$$ !!!!!!! All a SCAM !!!!!
