Amusement park attendance dropped 22% during the quarter compared to a year ago in part due to higher ticket prices
Amusement park operator Six Flags has become “day care center for teenagers” after offering too many discounts, according to its chief executive officer.
During an earnings call with analysts, Selim Bassoul — who took over the role in November — talked about the company’s new strategy to keep “rowdy” teenagers from running amok. The plan includes hiking prices and trying to attract a more affluent customer.
“Our aggressive strategic shift is still a work in progress, but my first nine months at Six Flags as Six Flags CEO has only reinforced my initial belief in Six Flags potential,” Bassoul said.
BWAHAHAHAHHA. Of course they are and have been for over 30 years.
Flip the land to real estate, while you can! Many waited too long and some out in the midwest and west still stand as relics to the past!
Next gen doesn’t do circuses (animal cruelty), local “carney” villes (cannot fight the bad elements), and truly are shut ins.
Sad since we gray beards went to circuses, learned how to fight and were kicked out of our homes to play outside. Most turned out well and many are owners of homes and businesses even on this crazy island as well as West OC.
We still laugh at you Rickie!
