    1. You think $17/hour for a local governmental job is low, you should the jobs that are available at Wicomico County and the sad salaries the County pays its employees. Some of these jobs, like the Director of Public Works, have been vacant and have been advertised for more than a year.

      1. Yea 10.08 and the counties recent salary adjustment has made more people hit the road. Upper crust came out the best with a few unqualified in nothing people who complain about everything behind peoples back but kiss up to there face getting compensated well also. Wicomico County has been a rotating door for some years now and will continue and never get better.

  1. New fiscal year, money available, so lets hire. Have we heard any compaints for lots of trash this year? Nope…wonder why?

    (Psst lack of visitors)

    1. Hahahaha we havent seen local youngins in these parts in ages. Expecting them to pick up trash when they dont at home? Hahahahahaha. We already know who will take that job….a AARP participant.

  2. I wonder if they will pick up all of the beach chairs/umbrellas/tents from our lovely visitors who set up at 6:30 in the morning and then disappear until we’ll after 10. Heck, I’m an old fat guy and I would volunteer to run a loader over the whole lot of ‘em!
