Republican Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan will not be backing his party’s Trump-endorsed nominee to replace him come November, saying he doesn’t believe the man has a shot at winning.
Hogan — who backed former state Commerce Secretary Kelly Schulz in last week’s election — told CNN on Monday that he is “certainly not” going to support Dan Cox.
“I don’t think there’s any chance he’ll win,” Hogan told host Jake Tapper.
“This was a big win for the Democratic Governors Association, who spent over $3 million trying to promote this guy,” he added. “It was basically collusion between Trump and the national Democrats.”
Hogan — who was unable to run for re-election due to term limits — was referring to the massive advertising campaign that the DGA launched, promoting Cox in order to line its candidate up for an easier win in November.
Hogan will just not stop running his mouth!!! That way nothing will help Maryland.
Like it or not, Maryland is way too commie liberal to ever elect Dan Cox and he is gonna now drag down a lot republicans in more swing areas of the state….total circular firing squad…this is the same reason why that monotone monkey Ernie Davis could now have a shot at county executive…Math don’t lie….Cox running in Maryland is like AOC running in Texas…

If I were Dan Cox I wouldn’t be tickled to death that fata$$ Hogan said that he wouldn’t vote for me. Nobody in their right mind gives a damn what hogan has to say. I hope he decides to run for president in the primary. Then he will see what people really think of him. It will be the same result as the primary when O’Malley ran. He found out pretty quick what people thought of him. Haven’t heard anything out of him since
Guess what Larry? The Dems will be backing your run for the primary you’re angling for. You’re their flavor of the month along with Lizard Cheney. But win, lose or draw you’ll be picking up a bad case of road rash as they put you under the bus. Check with McCain and Romney for details.

I have to agree with 2:42. It’s a fact. As much as I would like to see Cox as governor, unfortunately it’s not gonna happen, hence the DNCs’ contribution. All it boils down to now in this liberal shithole is the 4 western shore counties that always have and always will dictate the governor elect and as sorry as I am to say it, it won’t be Cox.
A lot of people said Trump could not win either. Well, he did. Cox can do the same and anyone that says he can’t win doesn’t know what they are talking about. Cox may lose but the Hogan supported candidate would have lost as well. Hogan saying that he will not support the primary winner just shows everyone what Hogan really is. RINO.
Schultz would lose but it would be at least be somewhat competitive…COX will get blown out of the water and he’s gonna take at least 3-4 state senate seats and 6 house of delegate seats with him because of the Qanon association and since his Attorney General is an open KKK supporter……Maryland is a liberal state like it or not and the eastern shore is going to get shafted even more because the party decided the nominate the guy who not only can’t win, but will sink a lot local people as well…putting aside Nutjob Julie Groomerdano’s mental instability and history of financial scandal, the presence of Cox is gonna bring out a lot Dems and independents to vote against local Rs just because of association…there is a reason why the democrat governors group actually backed Cox…..look at the big picture….
