St. Louis police say the customer got a handgun from his car, then went back and confronted the suspect
Police say a 26-year-old man was on a “violent crime spree” targeting multiple gas stations in St. Charles, Mo., early Saturday morning when a customer taking a bathroom break at a third station shot and killed him.
The St. Charles Police Department said they were already investigating an armed robbery at one gas station and a burglary at another when they received reports of shots fired at a third: a Quik Trip location roughly 22 miles outside St. Louis.
“Police Officers arrived to discover the suspect had been shot by a citizen during the armed robbery. The suspect was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased,” St. Charles police said in a Facebook post.
Note to self: Don’t leave the weapon in the car when visiting establishments with high crime risks.
Welp – the world we live in!
Another bad guy gone!
I feel bad for the citizen since every outlet will now want to interview and ask – What did you do? How did you react? How did you feel? What was going through you mind? Has it changed you?
All the BS the media does each and every time something happens good/bad/indifferent. Not to mention the same interviews over and over and over again.
Place a target on the citizen why don’t you. I’m sure everyone will dig into his past and something will come up. Or someone will sue, etc.
Things like this will happen when one can have a LEGAL firearm ready and available.
