Trump cheers Supreme Court he helped shape and makes big endorsement in Illinois

45th president endorsed state Sen. Darren Bailey in the race to become Illinois’ next governor.

Former President Donald Trump hailed the Supreme Court and the three justices he appointed, declaring Saturday night its rulings on gun rights and abortion were a major victory for those who revere the Constitution.

“Yesterday, the court handed down a victory for the Constitution, a victory for the rule of law and above all a victory for life,” the 45th president told a rally in Illinois surrounded by candidates he had endorsed.

“We believe that every precious child that is born and unborn is a sacred gift from God, we also had a great victory in the United States Supreme Court two days ago for supporters of a thing called the Second Amendment,” he added.

Trump also endorsed state Sen. Darren Bailey in the race to become Illinois’ next governor, launching a broadside against incumbent Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker, whom he called “one of the worst governors in America.”

“He was a disaster. His numbers are terrible. Everybody is fleeing his state. This is a disaster,” Trump told the crowd at the Adams County Fairgrounds.. “Darren is the opposite.”

“He wants to cut your taxes,” Trump said. “He wants to lower your regulations down to the lowest in the country and make Illinois competitive again, because it is not competitive at all.”

  1. Both the NY gun law ruling and the abortion ruling were about states’ rights vs citizens’ rights – not the actual topical cause of the ruling!

In the former, SCOTUS tells NY that NY doesn’t have the authority to “infringe” on a right granted in the constitution!

In the latter, SCOTUS tells the federal government that since abortion isn’t in the constitution, it belongs under the purview of the states!

If you read the constitution as written – these two are clear…

The next potential ruling will hopefully send lawmaking for the country back to the elected Congress and take it away from the unelected agency paper-pushers!

  2. The two most important contributors here are President Trump…and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

The former for putting three constitutionalists in the Supreme Court…

The latter for exercising her intransigence (probably learned it from Harry, Nancy, and Chucky) to decide NOT to retire!

  3. NOW fix the 2020 rigged election COUP by Democrats > Hear the case in the Supreme Coiurt > SOLVED !!!!
