It was recently announced that CNN+, the streaming service that CNN spent hundreds of millions of dollars creating and hiring top “talent” like Chris Wallace for, was folding after a mere month in operation. Despite the hundreds of millions spent, it brought in only about 10,000 viewers on average and only had 150,000 subscribers. Not great, given the level of investment involved.
Well, following that embarrassing announcement, CNN trotted out Brian “the Potato” Stelter to speak about what happened with CNN+ and what was going on over at CNN. Watch that embarrassing part of “Reliable Sources” here:
Retrofit Headline News (old CNN2) but they won’t since that would be direct competition with the mother ship. Instead they tried to copy FOXNATION and other platforms.
