Throw Away Dogs Project

BERLIN, MD. – This past weekend the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office hosted the 2022 K9 Law
and Order Summit in partnership with the Throw Away Dogs Project and the Frontier Town
Campground.

Throw Away Dogs Project is a non-profit organization that turns misunderstood dogs into
trained law enforcement canines. This summit had 75 law enforcement canine teams from all
over the country participate. Each canine team focused on advanced scenario-based training
including the disciplines of: Patrol and Tactical training along with Explosives and Narcotics
detection.
Thank you to everyone in the community for supporting our First Responders and Canines.

  1. This is a good project too many pets are put down every year, families move on and just leave them to live on our streets and get killed they did nothing wrong they just were left behind and no longer loved. This applies to our dogs as well as thousands of cats.

    *BREAKING*
The Republican Party of Wicomico is looking for a good candidate to run for County Executive! Currently there is a school teacher and 2 former state troopers, all with absolutely NO experience to run a County of 110,000 people and a multimillion dollar budget. Running a classroom of 15 teens is not the same as running a County. Driving around in a police car is not the same as running the largest county on the Eastern Shore! Both commendable jobs but that doesn’t qualify experience as the County Executive! Your taxes will skyrocket under their failed leadership! They are already talking to Mike Dunn of the GSC about removing the Revenue Cap! This County needs someone with business leadership! Please do it while you have time! The Board of Elections HAS to accept your application until 9 PM on Friday April 15, 2022.

The Party also needs good candidates to run for District 1 and District 4! Don’t give Hastings a free ride, he’s already admitted that he doesn’t want the seat because he is making plans to run for the House of Delegates, 38B. He just wants to stay long enough to remove the Revenue Cap!

Less than 24 hours until the filing deadline! If you would like to file to run for Office, please visit :
