Jesse Watters Says Will Smith’s Slap Is The ‘First Time’ He’s Seen ‘Media Cover Black-On-Black Crime’

Fox News host Jesse Watters said Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars was the first time he has witnessed the media cover “black-on-black crime.”

“This is the first time I’ve ever seen the media cover black-on-black crime so I’m actually quite surprised by this,” Watters said Monday. “If Mel Gibson had done this, Nancy Pelosi would be kneeling in the Capitol right now. He would’ve been the only guy not being allowed out on bail in L.A. County. Come on! He would’ve been allowed to go up on stage later and accept an award, are you crazy?”

“The fact that the L.A. Sheriff didn’t haul this guy out of there in the next commercial break explains why there’s such a big crime problem in this country because you can just go up as an audience member and coldcock a comedian on live television and get away with it.”

  1. Yet they really don’t know how to report it and always will not know how to report it.

Yet if the roles were reversed on white on black – its ALL over the place with each side stating the who/what/where/when/why. AND the full racial connotations to include obtaining an unfair jury.

Jesse is correct – yet things will never change until news is no longer entertainment.

  2. Not only was it witnessed and recorded and seen by many it will not result in any jail time, but if it was a white offender he would already be behind bars. They kept Smollett out of jail too until he kept pushing the boundaries and making fools of all his supporters and I’m sure his sentence will be shortened.
